Price: Wines from $20

Wines are located in the small town of Mintaro within the Clare Valley, a well known wine making region in South Australia.

Built in 1856, Reillys Cellar Door was originally owned by Irish shoemaker, Hugh Reilly. It is built from local slate and, along with the entire township of Mintaro, is heritage listed to preserve its unique history. In 1994, the first vintage of Reillys Wines was crushed and basket pressed by hand on the verandah of the now current cellar door. When you visit the cellar door, you can sample the range of premium wines and learn more about the unique Dry Land growing conditions and their traditional winemaking processes.

Whilst at the cellar door, visitors can collect a free brochure and map and take themselves on a vineyard tour. The tour follows an easy 300 metre trail meandering through the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard. You can use the map to learn about Reillys’ wine making methods and dry grown vineyards and take a break on the seats provided to relax and soak up the picturesque landscape.

Cellar Door: Open daily 10am to 4pm

Connoisseur Club Members welcome for 15% off all wine purchases, excluding specials and already discounted wines.
