Mount Avoca is just outside Avoca, one of the first towns to be part of the Gold Rush in the 1850s that shaped early Victoria. There are many historical and natural attractions just waiting to be discovered right on their doorstep. Mount Avoca offers two styles of accommodation to meet the needs of any holiday goer.

There are three eco-luxe lodges which blend 4 star luxury with an eco sensibility. Nestled amongst the olive grove, overlooking the vineyard, these lodges are the perfect getaway for couples. Tranquillity is key in these beautiful self contained lodges – large picture windows overlooking the magnificent backdrop of Mt Avoca and the Pyrenees Range set the tone to both recharge and unwind.

For families or groups, stay in the original Barry Family Homestead, situated on the highest point of the property and overlooking the entire estate. It is the perfect place to experience the beauty and serenity of this wonderful part of Victoria. Stylishly furnished with a mix of contemporary furniture and antiques, enjoy two living areas, each with an open fire, a brand new fully equipped kitchen and floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views. The expansive gardens will make you feel like the lord of the manor. They provide linen, towels and the kitchen has basics condiments.
