    Description

    Shalimar Indian Restaurant was established in 1981 and has been serving the Melbourne bayside community around Brighton for nearly 30 years. With fast and efficient service from the friendly staff, they are open for lunch and dinner.  If you can’t stay, takeaway is also available.

    Shalimar offers authentic North Indian cuisine consisting of rich curries and tandoori items cooked in a traditional clay oven. Popular items on the menu include the burra kebab, which is marinated lamb chops grilled in the tandoori oven, and the prawn masala. Of course, there are all the usual staples, including beef vindaloo, murgh korma and dahl, as well as a good selection of vegetarian dishes.

    Open for lunch Wednesday to Friday, 12:30PM to 2:30PM.

    Open for dinner Tuesday to Sunday, 5:30PM to 10:30PM.

    Closed Monday.
