Frogmore Creek Restaurant, formerly Meadowbank Estate, is set amongst the vines with floor to ceiling windows taking full advantage of the spectacular views of the Coal River Valley and the surrounding countryside.
Head Chef, Wayne Smith, leads a talented culinary team, producing beautiful, classic dishes using only the highest quality seasonal produce. The food is a robust-flavoured celebration of the seasons. The menu is decidedly French bistro in style, with mains including pan roasted fillet of local pink snapper, mussels and champagne butter sauce; and roasted breast of duck with figs and port jus. All washed down with Frogmore Creek’s own wines. Finish your meal with one of Wayne’s superbly light and deliciously flavoured raspberry soufflés with vanilla bean ice cream. Or indulge in the apple tart tatin with cinnamon ice cream. For those who don’t have a sweet tooth, there is a selection of Tasmanian cheeses on offer.
