Description
Nestled just outside of Lyndoch in the beautiful Barossa Valley, Hemera Estate rests on 100-year-old vine-bearing acreage.
The property was purchased by Pauline and Darius Ross in 1993, and the first vintage produced in 1999 under the name of Ross Estate. The winery was built in 2000, and in 2012 was purchased by Winston Wines and the name changed to Hemera Estate. Hemera is the Greek Goddess of Morning light – and due to our location we get more morning sun compared to other wineries in the Barossa.
Hemera Estate prides themselves on producing premium wines, with over 95% of their vintage is produced from the grapes you see on the property. The estate is 110 acres, and they have 11 different varieties on the property, the oldest plantings go back to 2012.
They also boast a unique cellar door experience; if time and staff permit Connoisseur Club Members will be able to take a behind the scenes look at the winery.
Hemera Estate are delighted to welcome you to their home and share the warmth and character of the beautiful estate with you, along with the best one-on-one attention from their wonderful cellar door staff. Take a slice of Hemera Estate home with you – they look forward to seeing you at the cellar door.
Cellar Door Open 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily
Connoisseur Club Members welcome for 20% off wines (not already on special) & complimentary VIP tour and tasting if you pre-book your visit with us.

Contacted 11/8/17 and posed as a member. Spoke to Colleen who answered the call, and said that she is sure that they accept the card, but suggested that I call Rachael. Contacted and still posing as a member on 14/8/17. Spoke to Rachael who still could not answer the question and asked me to call back after the 5th September so she could check with the bookkeeper who is away on leave. Contacted 15/6/18 – not available.
