Wise Wine

The Margaret River region is famous for two things: its dramatic coastline and its boutique vineyards. Wise Wine, nestled in the hills with ocean views of Eagle Bay, is the only winery in the region to combine both. Whilst sampling their award winning wines at the cellar door or adjoining restaurant, you can drink in the views of the vineyard, the surrounding old-growth forests and the pristine ocean beyond.

The Wise property was purchased by visionary Western Australian entrepreneur Ron Wise in the early 1990s. Together with wife Sandra, they have developed the Eagle Bay vineyard, established the Wise Vineyard Restaurant, chalet accommodation and a substantial contract wine making facility. Ron’s eye for the aesthetically pleasing is evident in the buildings, grounds and beautiful garden sculptures.

Wise Wine makes a wide range of wine styles and regional varietals. The Wise philosophy is to source small parcels of the highest quality fruit from the top vineyards in the regions which are most suited to grow each grape variety. With a range of 20 quality sparkling, white, red, dessert and fortified wines, they can confidently say that they have a wine to delight all palates.

The outstanding value of Wise Wines is perhaps their greatest strength. Wise Wine is not pretentious about wine and they want everybody to enjoy and be able to afford the wines. They understand the importance of delivering excellent value to their customers. Wise Wine don’t spend a fortune on marketing and fancy offices, instead they invest in good wine making equipment, the best fruit and great wine-making people.
