Mandala Wines

Established by the Smedley family in 1999, Mandala has two separate sites under vine, both producing varietals that excel in the region. The Dixons Creek home vineyard produces sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot noir, merlot, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon, and is one of the warmer sites on the Valley floor, producing lush and beautifully poised fruit. The second site at Yarra Junction was selected for its exceptional pinot noir growing conditions.

The Cellar Door, along with the spectacular glasshouse DiVino Ristorante, is the heart of Mandala’s Dixons Creek property. Located at 1568 Melba Highway, Dixon’s Creek – a short drive from Yarra Glen, and approximately one hour from Melbourne – it is relaxed and modern, with contemporary architecture and spectacular views of the vineyards and beyond.

Drop in for a tasting with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. All current release wines are available for tasting every day, and the single site wines – including ‘The Prophet’ pinot noir and ‘The Butterfly’ cabernet sauvignon join the list on selected weekends. Back vintages and cellar door only releases are also available throughout the year.

Group wine tastings are available every day, although bookings are essential.
