Price: Wines from $19

Gibson Wines is located in the Barossa Valley. The property includes the circa 1840s rammed earth cottage and rustic surrounds with an old verandah, wood fired oven and the family home. It is also the location of the modern iron and mud-rendered cellar door area, which is adjacent to the garage winery. It is here they connect the historic rammed red earth with the flavoursome wine and modern cellar door, all in a way that shows respect for heritage and the earth from which it grew.

Some of the wines made by Gibson Wines include Merlot from the cool northern end of the Barossa; modern vibrant Shiraz from Eden Valley blended with Barossa Valley, which maintains the fresh spicy, herbal notes from the northern Barossa in ever warming seasons; and Late Harvest Semillon to capitalise on the strength of this classic variety in warm years and the “on the vine” dehydration readily available in the Barossa. All the wine is produced using simple winemaking techniques and is complemented by good blending of the resultant small wine parcels.

Gibson Wines hold other activities including “Sunday Fundays” and wine parties.

Connoisseur Club Members are welcome for 15% off all wine purchases at cellar door and online.
