DenMar Estate is located on a picturesque property in the popular Hermitage Road area of Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley. DenMar Estate is a 25 acre property with approximately 10 acres of vineyard comprising 3 acres of Chardonnay, 3 acres of Pinot Noir, 2 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and 2 acres of Semillon.
All DenMar Estate, wine is made only from grapes grown on their property, making it a truly ‘single vineyard wine’. The soil at DenMar Estate is different to most of the Hunter Valley soil, since it is one of the few properties which lie on what is known as the Belford Dome, a rich clay and limestone soil similar to that of the Terra Rosa and the soils of Burgundy.
The property also boasts majestic views of the Brokenback Ranges, distant views to the Barrington Tops and surrounding vineyards. DenMar Estate Wine can only be purchased at the Cellar Door or online.
