Benjella Wines

Benjella is a small cool climate vineyard nestled in the picturesque Kiewa Valley, located 22kms from Mt Beauty in North East Victoria. Producing modest quantities of elegant handcrafted wines, they aim to capture the specific characteristics of this unique north facing site.

Planting began at Benjella in 2003 and its first vintage was produced from grapes harvested in 2007. Benjella produces about 800 cases per year using sustainable agricultural practices. Only biological products such as Nutrisoil, and Seasol are used to maximise the growth and health of the vines. No pesticides are used on Benjella vines and only a minimal use of disease control products when necessary. The grapes are handpicked during March and April.

The Benjella single vineyard wines are produced from shiraz, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc and chardonnay grapes.

Open for tastings by appointment and most weekends during the snow season.
