Set in an ambience of vines and natural bushland, Red Poles is a fine mix of food, wine and art in McLaren Vale.  Owner, Ros Miller, and her vibrant, friendly staff will ensure that you have a delightful time.

Red Poles Chef, Chris Chilvers, offers a delicious selection of local and imported produce, at reasonable prices.  His ever-changing menu is a delight to the tastebuds and includes dishes such as Hindmarsh Valley goats curd cigars and beetroot salad with truffled honey dressing or Black Angus eye fillet, braised pearl barley and wild mushroom, local cavelo nero and glaze.

Diners can enjoy the quiet surroundings and sample the wines, for which the Southern Vales are renowned. If you’re not much of a wine person, they also have a range of exotic cocktails.

Live music every Sunday is a special feature. As the cafe is situated in the middle of a vineyard and on the tourist drive, Red Poles is the ideal location to spend a casual lunch or a lazy afternoon.

Private functions are welcome and the ambient surroundings provide a great setting for a wedding.

Open Public Holidays, except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
