Poppies On Canterbury is a fine dining establishment featuring modern Australian cuisine.
Start your meal with the calamari salad with scored Cajun-spiced calamari pieces seared with lemon, garlic and kalamata olives, served atop fresh salad greens; or try the New Zealand mussels sautéed with garlic and fresh herbs in a white wine and Napoli sauce. For main, there is the signature pasta – gnocchi a la Poppies with semi-dried tomato, eggplant, pine nuts and fresh tomato, tossed in a light creamy sauce.
The dessert menu is filled with classic favourites like lemon tart, sticky date pudding and chocolate soufflé.
There is also a good range of daily specials to choose from.
Poppies On Canterbury is fully licensed and allows BYO of wine only.
