Description
Oddfellows restaurant, bar and beer garden offers Colac and district residents a fresh and exciting dining experience. Local sister and brother team Melanesia and Darcy McCallum created the dining concept, which includes a restaurant that can seat 50 plus diners and a separate bar area that also seats around 50.
Oddfellows restaurant’s name came from the owners of original building, the Independent Order of Oddfellows, which built its Lodge Hall in Colac in 1870. Making clever use of the building and the beauty of the space, has resulted in two distinct areas.
The bar is very separate with a distinct bar tapas menu, while Oddfellows restaurant has a seasonally changing menu featuring produce from Colac and district suppliers. “Paddock to plate” is important here and each menu item is chosen because the ingredients are available locally.
For classic meals with an Oddfellows twist, a trip here can be a different experience every time you visit, from a formal sit-down dinner or a casual cocktail and tapas. With fabulous staff and a service that is second to none, come for a drink and stay and have fun.
