    Il Nostro Posto, Italian for “Our Place” is a sophisticated Sicilian Cucina.  Located in Hardware Lane, this is a hidden jewel in the heart of Melbourne, a converted 19th century warehouse, boasting a distinctly European atmosphere.

    Owners, Pino and Salvina, with their experience and passion for Modern Italian cuisine have produced a menu featuring the new flavours of Sicily to compliment an exciting range of wines.

    Two of the signature dishes at this ristorante highlight seafood. The first is “Linguine al cartoccio” a seafood ragù pasta, wrapped in baking paper and oven-baked. This is a typical Sicilian recipe using fresh seafood, fresh tomato and chilli,  and once cooked, it’s removed from the oven and served  to the guest who can then eat the steaming pasta inside.

    The second signature dish at Il Nostro Posto is the “Guazzetto in Crosta”, which is a seafood stew, cooked with fresh seafood, covered with pizza dough and oven baked until it becomes a delicious seafood pie.

    Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

    Connoisseur Club Members are welcome for a complimentary main course.

      Pino Triglia said would like more customers to come through, but happy to continue. Has sticker and staff is aware but would like monthly newsletter.
