Karribank Country Retreat

The original Karribank was built in the early 1900s and began to provide lodging for travellers shortly after. It holds the honour of being Western Australia’s first country retreat.

Owners Chris and John Blythe welcome guests to historic Karribank Country Retreat which is located on the doorstep of the wonderland Porongurup National Park, Western Australia.

They provide a variety of accommodation at rates to suit your holiday needs from single, family, twin and double rooms and self contained cottages and chalets. The property enjoys privacy and magnificent views amidst cottage gardens and spacious grounds. Television hire is available, or you may enjoy company in the comfort of the guest lounge.

Guests may enjoy breakfast and evening meals in the delightful lounge and dining areas. Enjoy mountain walks and marvel at the unique wildflowers. Visit the many local award-winning wineries, galleries and craft shops.
